Obey or Resist
The average person, in any given moment, is very likely to comply with and tolerate injustice and abuse, in order to avoid immediate trouble for himself. But in the long run, everyone doing that leads to FAR more "trouble" for the whole world. As a result, to achieve short term benefits, humanity allows long term catastrophes.
