If a company chooses to pay maternity leave, fine. But forcing it is slavery. And takes from other employees as they and the company are forced to subsidize someone else's life choice. And how accurate is this anyway? Who pays in these other countries, company or taxes? Is it law or voluntary? Again, if its law it is slavery.
Government IS slavery. Is now, always has been, always will be.
